All Black's celebrating its throwing a 12th anniversary party on December 15.
All Black Irish Pub, in the Jardins district, is one of São Paulo's best pubs and a great place for sports watching, live music, flirting, and St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
Opened in 2011, All Black keeps up with the atmosphere of authentic Irish pubs in its decor, menu and beer choices.
Dark wood paneling, stained glass, and beer signs evoke the style of a Dublin pub. Guinness is not only on the beer list, but on the food menu as well - mini cheeseburgers and a meat pie have the legendary drink as an ingredient.
Steak and kidney pie - which must be ordered 25 minutes in advance, Irish Boxty, and fish 'n chips are some of the more traditional dishes served. Pair them up with a good selection of draft and bottled beer, including Stella Artois, Newcastle Brown Ale, Old Speckled Hen, and Brazilian Itaipava and Xingu.
There's live music - pop rock, blues, classic rock - from Tuesday to Saturday. Sports events shown on two big screens and a 42-inch TV include all major rugby championships, such as the Heineken Cup, Tri Nations and the Rugby World Cup, when the pub hosts viewing events with beer specials and other perks. Those bring in even more international visitors and expats than usual.
