From Patricia Ribeiro Banespa Building©Patricia Ribeiro
The building with a flag (the São Paulo state flag) is the Banespa Building, opened in 1947. For about two decades, it was the tallest building in Brazil. Today, the tallest building in the country is the Mirante do Vale, also in downtown São Paulo, at 170 meters (about 557 feet). |
