Recife Convention & Visitors Bureau

Recife, Olinda, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Ipojuca and Fernando de Noronha are the hubs in the History and Sea route, which groups most of the state’s top attractions.

Several of the state’s most famous beaches belong to Ipojuca – Porto de Galinhas, Muro Alto, Maracaípe and Serrambi.

In Fernando de Noronha, the most paradisiacal archipelago in Brazil, travelers find Praia do Sancho, considered by many the most beautiful beach in the country.

Except for Noronha, at 540 km from the coast, all the other attractions are a stone’s throw from Recife – between 7 and 51 km.
