Veneza Water Park Overview:
Updated on Oct.8, 2010
Located less than 18 miles from Central Recife in the district of Maria Farinha, Veneza Water Park is a can't-miss program for the whole family.
One of the top water parks in Brazil, it's best known for the Anaconda, a uniquely shaped water slide which coils around an ancient tree.
The largest lazy river in Brazil, a wave pool, a butterfly-shaped water playground, saunas and pools for water sports are some of the other attractions.
Galeão, the restaurant at Veneza Water Park, occupies a replica of a 16th-century Dutch galleon and seats 200. The park also has 18 food tents.
Season prices from September 2010 to February 2011 cost from R$34 (kids 1,34m tall and shorter, seniors 60 and older) to R$190 for a family pass (couple and three kids). See the complete list of prices on the Veneza Water Park website, under "Preços".
