The dirt road, poor in signals, which leads up to the tropical haven created by Chef Oliver de Corta and his wife at the foot of the Bocaina range is in fact a major plus, as it keeps the hotel quieter and more exclusive.
Brave the road (but check for conditions after heavy rains) in order to sample the chef's mix of French style and Brazilian ingredients - fruit are picked on the property - with African accents.
While you wait for your order, bathe in a waterfall surrounded by rainforest.
