A fantastic view of Rio de Janeiro is one of the pluses in Réveillon do Costa Brava 2010, in São Conrado. The Costa Brava Club, perched atop a rock formation which drops into the Atlantic Ocean, is hosting the second edition of this party with two dance floors, several bars, an all-inclusive menu with two buffets and breakfast, and panoramic views of seaside fireworks shows in Rio.
Local online party guide RioFesta voted Réveillon do Costa Brava 2009 the best New Year's Eve party in town.
In 2010, part of the Grande Rio drum section, DJs Marlboro and Helen Sancho will perform on the indoor dance floor.
On the open-air dance floor, there will be hip-hop with Black Alien and house, techno and electro DJs Gabe and Nath Carreiro.
Food and Drink at Réveillon do Costa Brava 2010
The cocktail-style service will offer camarão na moranga ("shrimp in the pumpkin"), cheese polpettone, codfish cakes, ham and pineapple vol-au-vents, and many other finger foods such as kani sticks, wraps and kibbeh with Brie.
In the pasta station, there will be four entrées, including farfalle a putanesca and herb chicken fagottini. In the risotto station, choose from seafood, codfish, funghi or cottage cheese and arugula risotto. Move on to the station featuring filet emincé in Madeira sauce and rice with lentils, then to the offerings in the crepe station, including salty fillings such as sun-dried meat with Catupiry or sweeet fillings - strawberries and chocolate or doce de leite, for example.
Round it all out with pies from the dessert station - chocolate, lime, walnut. You'll also find passion fruit mousse.
The open bar will offer vodka, whisky 8 year, sparkling wines, energy drinks and sodas.
Ticket Prices:
Tickets to the VIP area have sold out. Regular tickets (R$300 for women, R$350 for men) will be sold at this price until Dec.8, 2009.
