Réveillon Cidade Maravilhosa 2013 is the 8th edition of the New Year's Eve party at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro.
Espaço MAM, the event venue adjacent to the Museum of Modern Art on Flamengo Beach, offers some of the best views in Rio. Party-goers can see the fireworks of New Year's Eve in Copacabana as well as the fireworks on Flamengo Beach and all the way in Niterói, across Guanabara Bay.
The elegant rooms of Espaço MAM will have lounges and two dance floors. On Dance Floor 1, there will be Brazilian country with Anselmo & Rafael and a performace by Ivo Meirelles, whose became famous in the Mangueira samba school. DJs Tartaruga, Tubarão and Daniel das Micaretas will also be on Pista 1.
Pista 2, the other dance floor, will be in charge of DJs Fabricio Peçanha, Leozinho e Paciornik, Rafael Delgado and 16-year old revelation Olin Batista.
The all-inclusive dinner buffet with cuisine by restaurateur Marcelo Torres and chef Douglas Sanchez of Laguiole, the restaurant at the museum, will comprise several stations (pasta, risotto, fresh fruit, cold cuts and mousses, fast food & snacks) as well as an open bar and a full breakfast.
