Praia Rasa means "shallow beach" and its clear, calm waters make it one of the best in Búzios. Here, you will also find some of the best accommodations in town.
- Villa Rasa Marina
Opened in 2008, this beachfront boutique hotel and spa is owned by the Marina group. They also own the Marina Palace Hotel and the Marina All Suites in Leblon. The company no longer owns the Parador Santarém in Itaipava, Petrópolis, which is currently not being used as a hotel.
The Villa Rasa Marina, recommended by Condé Nast Johansens, is near the Búzios Golf Club & Resort and a 10-minute drive from central Búzios. The hotel has 35 rooms and suites, decorated in crisp white with touches of bright color. Natural elements such as salvaged wood and straw blend in with updated comforts - high pressure shower heads, iPod chargers. The hotel has two buildings: Villa da Praia, a toes-in-the-sand, and Villa do Jardim across the street.
- Pousada Praia Rasa
The beachfront inn has 20 suites with balconies, a pool surrounded by flowers and a sauna. You can order lunch. Schooner tours are available.
