The Maresias Hostel, an HI hostel which is actually called Pousada San Sebastian, is within a short walk from Maresias, one of the top beaches on the São Paulo North Shore.
The hostel has a rustic look and feel, thanks to lots of wooden beams and a long open balcony facing lush vegetation.
The apartments accommodate from a single traveler to couples to groups of friends on bunk beds.
Every room has its own bathroom and lockers.
A spacious room for socializing, a swimming pool, a pool table and a TV and DVD room.
A plus at the hostel is the friendly staff.
The hostel has one room that's partially adapted for travelers with disabilities. The room with a double bed and a bunker bed is on the ground floor (level with the ground) and the doors are wider to allow for wheelchair access, but the toilet is not adapted and bars havent' been installed.
Wheelchair travelers have stayed in the room before.

The closest street from the beach to the hostel is directly across from Passagem 8, or the eighth alley between beachfront Avenida Francisco Loup and the beach.
The map and directions on the hostel website are pretty clear. The Bradesco ATM (look for "caixa eletronico bradesco" in Google Images to see what it looks like) is your reference whether you come by car or by bus.
