The hotel location makes it convenient for business or leisure travel. The address is three blocks down from the Avenida Ibirapuera, the main avenue in Moema, which preserves the hotel from the highest traffic volume.
Discreetly decorated rooms have cable TV, telephone, A/C, safe deposit box, mini refrigerator, and a hair dryer. Central heated showers (as opposed to electric showers often found in Brazil budget hotels) and laminate flooring in some rooms are other perks.
The Merak has a rooftop leisure area with a pool and rooms for events.
