Florianópolis residents and travelers have a brand-new (revamped) spot for their lunch and nightlife: Mumbai Taikô, formerly Taikô Iguatemi.

Tonight, the lounge bar is opening for the press. On Friday, the general public will get to enjoy the grand opening of the large space in Asian style on the ground floor of Shopping Iguatemi. The featured DJ will be João Lee.

Mumbai Taikô, a partnership between Grupo Idem Entretenimento and the owner of Taikô in Jurerê Internacional, will be open for happy hour (with Brazilian-style bar food), dinner (there's a sushi bar) and weekend parties with DJs.
