With one of the most beautiful settings among Rio de Janeiro's New Year's Eve parties - an event area at MAM Rio, the Museum of Modern Art, Réveillon Cidade Maravilhosa 2013 will be the 8th edition of a party with good local reviews and reasonable ticket prices in comparison to other celebrations.

Cuisine by chef Douglas Sanchez, of Laguiole, the museum's restaurant, is bound to be one of the highlights. At the open bar, one can also expect a good selection of wines by Laguiole restaurateur and oenophile Marcelo Torres, who's also behind the wine cellars at other top Rio restaurants such as Giuseppe Grill Leblon.

One of the headliners is Ivo Meirelles, who's got a lot of swing and stage presence.
