It was fabulous while it lasted: Pink Fleet, EBX's luxury day cruise ship, is no longer available to the general public for tours of Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro.
Pink Fleet is now used exclusively for corporate and social events, as an additional venue for Marina da Glória, which, like the ship, belongs to billionaire Eike Batista. The ship won an important award as best place for events in 2009 and 2010.
You still have options for tours of Guanabara Bay and other attractions off the shores of Rio de Janeiro, departing from Marina da Glória. For example: Saveiros Tour can take you around Guanabara Bay and to lovely spots such as Itacuruçá and nearby islands. You can also rent a boat from Yacht Tour, who, by the way, are throwing New Year's Eve Party at Sea 2011.
