31st World Naturism Congress in Tambaba, PB

Tambaba, a beach with intriguing rock formations in Conde, Paraíba, is abuzz with the arrival of participants in the 31st World Naturism Congress (Sep. 9-13). The pioneer in a rare group of official nude beaches in Brazil, Tambaba is home to Sonata, an active organization committed to the ethical principles of naturism.

According to the Paraíba Travel Bureau, four thousand people are expected to attend the events. This afternoon, Mercado Capim Fashion, or the Grass Fashion Market, a nomadic event that showcases Paraíba handicrafts, opens the parallel entertainment activities, which include shows, regional cuisine dinners, and a nude art exhibit.
